So, who am I?

For over a decade now, I’ve been scouring the globe to chat, explore, adventure and connect with people and tell their stories. And crash their funerals. And get lost so you don’t have to. And recommended your next travel destinations. And amplify under-represented voices (though while still rubbing shoulders with the glitterati).  And touched on necessary cultural conversations. And taught some art history, even on butts.  And broke news on cultural developments. And contemplated our weird, wonderful existence of being human with great artistic minds.

As a freelance writer and editor, I write and cover the areas of art, design, travel, and all things cultural. It’s been a wild ride. My work has been featured in Bloomberg, Fodor’s, New York Magazine, the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and many other publications, including the late-great Details.  I’ve also has also been interviewed for Miami Herald, Observer, Vox, USA Today, as well as worked on publications with Rizzoli press and spoken at art fairs and conferences. I’ve even been targeted by Breitbart!

Born and based in New York, I’ve been curious about the world and its inhabitants since my memories began, and really haven’t stopped since. My six word memoir would certainly be, “Heavy bags on planes and trains,” but always working towards, “Big table, many faces, endless laughter.”

Find me here or here or likely in a city near you. Drop a line if you’re so inclined.
